Dear member

Get “In the Mood”, it’s the 40s revival at Brookland Museum, Weybridge – 19 May 2012

We have planned a visit to Brooklands on Saturday, 19 May at 10.00am when they are holding a special theme day – The 1940s Relived – from the home front to the front line with a special discount of £2.00 for adults dressed in period clothes!

We will only get the group rate if there are at least 15 of us.

Prices range from £4.50 for children and £8/9 for adults.

Red Lion

There is lots to see and do at Brooklands. There are three trails to follow – the Motoring village, Test Hill and the Track, Aircraft and Aviation, the London Bus Museum, the opportunity to be driven round part of the track in a vintage racing car and even a chance to go onboard Concorde and experience a virtual flight.

Car rides and the Concorde experience are extra. Tickets for the Concorde experience have to be booked in advance.

Subscriptions update

I'd like to thank you if you are one of the many members who have set up a Standing Order to pay your annual subs (due 1 May). Over seventy SOs have been set up which is a great help in reducing membership administration.

However, if you have not yet renewed your membership we urge you to pay by Standing Order.

Please use the following form and send it to your bank:

If you have already paid by cheque for this year, we would still like you to set up a Standing Order for 2013/14 by making the start date 1 May 2013.

Many thanks
